Hitman 3 improves the reflections of the first two and the size of the installation

A new Hitman 3 game video shows the first few minutes of Ian Hitman in Dubai, the dystopian city loved by Jim Davidson and #sponcon #influencers. He came to commit crimes during the opening of the tallest building in the world and it is a beautiful one. The video from Game Informer doesn’t show too many sneaks or murders, but it looks nice. Some of the technical improvements for Hit 3 will also benefit from the first two games, revealed one of the game’s developers, including more sophisticated reflections and a smaller installation size.

I like Ian Hitman’s jumpsuit fluttering in the skyscraper breeze there. I’m sure the game has a lot of other ways to start the mission, the mind, going through the previous two games.

Hitman 3 is set to launch on January 20 on the Epic Games Store. Yes, it is a timed exclusive. It will also be on Xbox, PlayStations and Stage. It will also be on the Switch exclusively as via cloud games, which is curious.

One of the Io Interactive bands talked a bit about the technology in the video on the ResetEra forums, under the username “A Path Finder” – verified by the ways.

“We have modernized the engine with reflections of the screen space”, they explained after the bright ones attracted the attention of some people. “The best thing? It’s compatible with the previous two games in the trilogy and many surfaces have been updated.” This made people speculate, which prompted a response.

The developer went on to say: “We certainly have reflections in the other two games, but we have really modernized the engine with reflections of the screen space (and for the base ps4 / xbox one) and so it will be much better reflected this time around. For example, the floor of the catwalk of the Paris fashion show now fully reflects the models and the rest of the room, making the whole scenario look much more impressive 🙂 ”. The entire trilogy will benefit from other improvements.

“All three games with all the content will take up about 100 GB,” said the developer. “The biggest gains are due to the management of data and file structures and how we deliver the game, so we can eliminate duplicate data,” they later explained, to the benefit of the techniques. “We also use newer and better compression for textures – and that helps.”

Io Interactive is also working on a James Bond game, codenamed Project 007.
