The newest mutant COVID strains, including the Brazilian and Kent variants, are said to be quite strong and generate the ability to cause more symptoms and attack vital organs more deeply. According to current research that has emerged from hospitals in India, people who have tested positive for the virus now also report various viral symptoms, as opposed to the classic signs and symptoms of COVID-19.
According to doctors in Gujarat, patients now have unusual symptoms of the virus, including abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and even a cold. The absence of typical symptoms, such as fever and cough, causes doctors to warn patients to be tested even if they show no classic signs.
Other symptoms seen more and more in patients with COVID + include joint pain, myalgia, gastrointestinal complications, weakness and loss of appetite.
Interestingly, unusual signs and detection of vague symptoms, in addition to COVID fever or cough, were also highlighted during the second, third wave of infections that have hit the UK and other European countries in recent months.
