High speed could be the cause of the driver who hit Tesla at home in Miramar

MIRAMAR, Fla. – Several broken cars were in front of a house in Miramar after the driver of a Tesla took over cars, several trees and a house early on Saturday morning.

Police said it happened around 4 a.m. on Miramar Parkway near Southwest 65th Avenue.

Home surveillance cameras captured the moment when Tesla started on the destructive path.

Neighbors said a person was inside the car and was unconscious after the accident.

The driver was rushed to Memorial Regional Hospital by first responders.

They also noticed that Sheriff Broward’s office was watching closely behind the car and said that a sheriff’s deputy showed up at the scene almost immediately after the accident. The MP told residents that the car had to exceed 100 mph to cause such damage, but investigators will determine exactly what happened.

The impact of the car was also so severe that he picked up a parked van in front of the house and crashed a parked Mazda.
