After weeks of rumors, Samsung has finally announced its next Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for January 14 and could not have come at a better time, as recently a series of new leaks have spilled the grain on what we expect to see at the next big showcase of the Samsung product.

Maybe the biggest new leak is coming YouTuber digital slang who recently posted a very detailed video for the first impression with the following state-of-the-art wireless headphones: Galaxy Buds Pro. While the video arrived a few weeks before the expected official release of Galaxy Buds Pro, Digital Slang managed to install a pre-release version of the Galaxy Wear app to pair Galaxy Buds Pro with a Galaxy Fold 2 and check almost everything its characteristics.

Similar to the oldest Galaxy Buds +, Galaxy Buds Pro have a closed-back design that passively blocks ambient noise, but with a significantly smaller casing that Digital Slang says is fairly light and comfortable. In addition, Samsung also offered Galaxy Buds Pro active noise cancellation technology with a new ambient sound mode that can be activated automatically if it hears nearby voices, a feature that could be really useful if you need to quickly enter a store and ask a question without having to remove or leave with the Galaxy Buds Pro settings.

As with the previous Galaxy Buds, the Galaxy Buds Pro also comes with touch controls built into each headset and a wireless charging case. Unfortunately, while Digital Slang says the Galaxy Buds Pro sounds great, it says the ANC’s performance is somewhat lacking in light, though it may be because it uses a pre-production version of the Galaxy Wear app or because Samsung has not released yet final firmware for Galaxy Buds Pro.

Eventually, the Galaxy Buds Pro call will depend on that ANC performance, especially with a new leak from Sammobile claiming that the Galaxy Buds Pro should cost only $ 200, $ 50 less than the AirPods Pro.

In addition to the following Samsung wireless headphones, Winfuture claims to have discovered new official images and information about the Galaxy S21 Ultra S-Pen and a new flip cover cover for the S21 Ultra, which offers built-in pen storage. While not as small or bright as the S-Pens that commonly come with Galaxy Note phones, it looks like the S21 Ultra pen still has the same pressure sensitivity. Wacom digitizer with a few built-in buttons for deleting notes, controlling music or serving as a remote shutter release for the S21 Ultra camera. It is said that the S21 Ultra’s S-Pen still supports Samsung air actionsand, due to its larger size, it could be even more comfortable to use than super-thin pens that usually come with Galaxy Note phones. However, unlike the Galaxy Note line, the S21 Ultra’s S-Pen will not be included and will be available separately instead, with an estimated price of about 40 euros (about 50 USD).

Finally, in a move that seems designed to beat that of Apple long rumors AirTags at the market, 91 mobile phones says that Samsung is also preparing to launch Galaxy SmartTags, which are small Bluetooth-based tracking dongles. Similar to Tracking plates and Apple AirTags not yet released, should be Samsung SmartTags be attached to item such as keys or a backpack to help you find them easier if they ever get lost. Samsung SmartTags will be available in black and oatmeal for about $ 20.

So, between all the Galaxy S21, Galaxy Buds Pro and now Galaxy SmartTags versions, these are at least three different products that we expect to see at Galaxy Unpacked 2021. And with almost two weeks it remains to go to the event, it is possible to see even more devices leaking from now until then.
