Here’s the business behind the clock behind Jack Dorsey

The clock first displayed the number “1952”, then switched to a six-digit number that did not look like a unit of time at all. In a few minutes – a unit of time seemed like this watch unable to measure – the internet had found the answer.

More Twitter users Highlighted that the device behind Dorsey was a “Blockclock Mini” – a device that displays blockchain data, including bitcoin prices or the number of blocks on the blockchain, the public digital registry system on which cryptocurrencies are built.
Dorsey himself appeared to confirm that was the case, pleasure at least two tweets which linked to the device’s website while answering parliamentarians’ questions.
Blockclock was originally created by cryptocurrency company Coinkite to mark 10 years of bitcoin. Blockclock Mini, as the name suggests, is a new, smaller version of the original and is currently available on the company’s website for $ 399.
Among other benefits, the product page gives owners like Dorsey the option to “choose your favorite Fiat currency” for display and give the device a “if you have more” name. In fact, it can only be used as a watch.
Dorsey is a well-known cryptocurrency enthusiast – his current one Twitter biography simply read “#bitcoin” – and recently sold its first tweet as NFT for $ 2.9 million.
