One hundred of the company’s pharmacies, including several locations in Southern California, will administer approximately 81,900 doses starting Thursday, February 11th. You will be able to book an appointment as early as February 10th.
You must be eligible to receive the vaccine in accordance with the current vaccine launch plan in the state, which includes health care workers and people aged 65 and over. And you must have an appointment before receiving the dose.

Meanwhile, senior health officials discussed plans to change the current vaccine distribution system, suggesting revisions as to who will be the next group to be eligible for inoculation. However, the specific has not yet been released.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, California still lags behind other states in launching vaccines.
Dr. Mark Ghaly, California’s secretary of health and human services, says the state wants to change that and respond indignantly because the disabled state of Golden State has not yet received the vaccine.
“We are leading our vaccination efforts by focusing on protecting those most at risk and those who may suffer the worst consequences from COVID,” he said. “So, working with the community with disabilities, those who care for individuals with severe chronic conditions, begin to galvanize a policy that we will announce later.”
