PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Heinz Field COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic will offer several meetings.

Giant Eagle has announced that it is expanding the clinic after an “overwhelmingly positive response.” Additional programming will be made available through Giant Eagle’s online planning tool.
These meetings will be for March 8 through March 9 and will be available on Friday afternoon. Giant Eagle says more appointments can be added as the vaccine is received.

The clinic started this week. Giant Eagle said more than 4,000 people will receive the photos between Tuesday and Friday.
It’s for Phase 1A people in Pennsylvania. Appointments can be made here.
Allegheny’s health network and Dick’s sports facilities are also setting up a mass vaccination site against coronavirus to vaccinate more than 5,000 people in phase 1A.
Appointments have already been made for the clinic on Friday, which is at the company’s office in Coraopolis. Accessories will not be accepted.

According to a statement, the clinic is “the largest one-day COVID-19 vaccination clinic to date in the greater western Pennsylvania region.”
