The Department of Health (DS) reported today, Saturday, 10 additional deaths caused by Covid-19 in its daily report, adding a total of 1,771 deaths caused by the virus on the island since the beginning of the pandemic. The 10 deceased are between 61 and 96 years old.
In addition, DS reported 1605 new positive cases to Covid-19, for samples taken between January 7 and January 21 this year. Of the total new cases, 687 are confirmed by molecular tests, 164 are probable cases by antigen testing, and the remaining 754 cases are suspicious.
