The National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD) arrested the so-called Julio de los Santos Bautista (Julito Kilo) during an operation in San Pedro de Macorís.
The detainee is accused of committing crimes related to murder and drug trafficking.
His last arrest took place at the end of April 2019 on Avenida El Puerto, in the Capital, but he was released a few days later, despite the fact that five firearms were found. He has a court case not only in the country but also in the United States.
He has filed charges in the country such as murder and drug confiscation, for which he has opened at least six court cases.
Julito Kilo was deported from the United States after serving a seven-year prison sentence for a drug case.
So far there are no details on how his arrest took place, but it is expected that in the next few minutes DNCD will rule on this issue.
