Hayley Williams releases new album FLOWERS for VASES / rest: Listen

Less than a year after releasing her solo debut, Hayley Williams is back with another new album: FLOWERS for POTS / rests—Produced by Daniel James, mixed by Carlos de la Garza and mastered by Heba Kadry – it is now available across the Atlantic. Hear it below.

FLOWERS for POTS / rests includes a new version of “Find Me Here,” which Williams recently distributed Armor petals: self-serenades EP. In a statement, leader Paramore said: “It is not really a pursuit Armor petals. If there is anything, it is a prequel or a kind of detour between parts 1 and 2 of Petals. The meaning of the album as a whole is perhaps completely different from immersing yourself in each song in particular. She continued:

For me, there is no better way to approach these individual topics than the holistic one. The ways in which I have been given time (by force, indeed) to be on certain pains long enough to understand that they must, in fact, be released … indefinitely. Perhaps I have never been offered such goodness; an opportunity to take care of the seeds I have planted, to reap and remove or cut what is no longer alive, to make room for the living. I wrote and performed this album in its entirety. This is a first career for me. I recorded it at home in Nashville, the house I’ve lived in since Paramore launched After Laughter. 2020 has been very difficult, but I am alive, so my job is to live on and help others do the same.
