NEW YORK (AP) – Harry Brant, a rising model and son of supermodel Stephanie Seymour and publisher Peter M. Brant, has died. He was 24 years old.
Young Brant died Sunday from an accidental overdose, his family said in a statement to The New York Times, saying “his life has been shortened by this devastating disease.”
“It was a creative, loving and strong soul that brought light to the hearts of so many people,” the statement said. “He was really a beautiful person inside and out.”
Brant had appeared in Italian Vogue and in campaigns for the Balmain fashion house. He had previously launched a unisex makeup line with his brother – Peter Brant, Jr. – for MAC cosmetics.
“I think people can definitely express themselves in a wonderful way through makeup, because it’s about fantasy and turning you into a person you may not necessarily be every day, so you’ll succeed. to escape for one night with this new staff, “Brant told W magazine in 2016.” That’s what I’ve always done. “
His parents told the Times that he plans to go into rehab this year and hopes to play a role in the creative side of Interview magazine, which his father publishes.
“He has achieved a lot in his 24 years, but we will never have a chance to see how much Harry could have done,” the family said in a statement.
