Gustavo Boquín will be taken to Mexico due to complications from covid-19

Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

Gustavo Boquin, Member of the Honduras Strategic Investment Audit Commission (Invest-H), is hospitalized at a clinic in the capital due to health complications resulting from covid-19.

It was announced on Saturday that Boquín will be transferred in the next few hours to Mexico get better medical care because you’ve been battling the virus in your body for over a week now. At this time, the exact condition of the auditor Gustavo Boquín has not been confirmed.

In July 2020, Boquín, along with José Leva Bulnes and José Alberto Benítez, were appointed by the government to form a Commission and thus launched the seven mobile hospitals that Honduras purchased for nearly $ 48 million, when Marco Bográn was the head of Invest-H, however, almost a year after the covid-19 pandemic in Honduras, the interveners failed to put them to work, which generated multiple complaints from different sectors of society.

Of the seven mobile hospitals, San Pedro Sula is the one that operates almost entirely, while Tegucigalpa is not yet fully operational. Meanwhile, the cities of Danlí, Juticalpa, Santa Rosa de Copán, Choluteca and La Ceiba are still waiting for the installation to be completed.
