Puerto Rican comedian Alfonso Alemán, best known for his character on WAPA TV’s “El Guitarreño,” will return to “Pégate al Mediodía” on that channel today, but this morning he was at Noticentro Al Amanecer where he was received at the sound of “Llegó Dad”.
Alemán has been missing since December 14 after requesting surgery after suffering an accident while doing repair work at his home. The artist had a deep laceration in his right eye. At one point it was thought he would lose his eye.
“Trust yourself and that’s where we’re wrong … We think we’re Superman,” Alemán said in an interview with Noticentro al Amanecer.
For Alemán, his convalescence after the accident was “a test of God and I overcame him,” as he quoted the story of Abraham in the Bible and demonstrated the effect of the accident on his eye.
The artist also took the opportunity to thank his wife who was with him during the troubles.
