Grand Theft Auto PS2 Remasters may be announced very soon

The much-rumored remakes of the PS5 Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas may finally be announced later today on the new PlayStation State of Play. While a new leak has GTA fans anticipating the revelation GTA 5 on PS5, some new teasing on the GTA forums also anticipated the aforementioned announcement. Weeks ago, those inside and on the popular forum site teased the relaunch of these three classic PS2 eras GTA games, and now some are teasing that today is finally the day they will be announced.

On the GTA forums, the user “ClimaCool” recently and apparently teased that something will happen involving these games on February 25. The thing is, this teasing was shared before the announcement of the PlayStation State of Play, giving some credence to the belief this was a type of inside information.

That being said, it may have been a teasing GTA 5 news rather than GTA trilogy news and, of course, this could be nothing but a lucky coincidence.

Fortunately, we don’t have to wait too long to find out exactly what’s going on here. At the time of publication, the PlayStation State of Play is approximately three hours away.

At this time, no party involved – Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive or Sony – has commented on any of the above information. If this changes, we will be sure to update the story, but we do not expect it to. Not only do all three maintain a fairly strict “no comment” policy when it comes to rumors and all the information about the unofficial and speculative variety, but there is no point in commenting on a rumor about a show less than three hours away. .
