Grafton neighbors react to arrest of pharmacist accused of destroying COVID-19 vaccine doses

GRAFTON, Wis. – Neighbors are talking while a Grafton pharmacist remains in jail tonight on charges of intentionally allowing hundreds of doses of COVID-19 vaccine to break down.

TMJ4 News does not name him because he was not officially charged.

“I just saw some of the policemen surrounding the house. They’ve been here a long time, “said Drew Windsor, a neighbor who saw police officers in the area when the pharmacist was arrested.

The quiet Grafton neighborhood is in the spotlight after police took one of the homeowners into custody.

The man is accused of intentionally destroying dozens of bottles of Modern COVID-19 vaccine.

“Shocking. To put it in one word. Shocking,” said Timothy Skow, another neighbor.

Skow lives a few doors down from her neighbor who worked at Aurora Advocate Hospital in Grafton as a pharmacist. Aurora fired him after police said he intentionally handled nearly 600 doses of Moderna covid-19 vaccine, leaving them unregulated, making them useless.

He is now in Ozaukee County Jail, detained on three separate felony charges.

“For this to happen and the vaccines to be manipulated. It’s a shame, “Windsor said.

TMJ4 News went to the pharmacist’s house in hopes of talking to anyone else who might live with him, but no one responded to a knock on his door.

Despite a cordial relationship, Skow now has very strong feelings for his neighbor and the crimes he accused of committing.

“You are a pharmacist, you know what this pandemic can do to people. I hope you stay in a cell and spend the rest of your life there, ”Skow said.

The accusations made by the former pharmacist are the first degree that carelessly endangers safety, adulterates a prescription drug and criminally damages the goods.

TMJ4 news contacted Grafton police today for an update on the case, but they have not heard.

Charges against the pharmacist are expected to drop next week.
