About Abinader indicated that there are 355 fewer employees in EDE and stressed that before each distributor had a salary and that “everything that was dismantled”.

He added that the EDE’s financial deficit has been reduced from RD 907 million to RD 800 million, for savings of over RD 100 million.

He also indicated that “for the first time in history” the current debt with electricity companies does not exceed 30 days and that the revenue of the three distributors has increased by 150 million USD.
