Tessica Brown, the TikToker who went viral for washing her hair in Gorilla Glue, revealed the real reason she used the sticky substance – she needed her perfectly chosen mane for a date.
In early January, Brown had plans to sit by a lake near her sister’s house with her fiancé Dewitt and was in a hurry to leave the house, she told The Post Wednesday in an interview with Zoom.
“I was leaving, so I mean I went to spray the Got2B glue and air came out of it … so now I’m looking all over the house, I need to find something you know about these flyaways,” Brown said. for 40 years. .
“I was walking on the lake, so I know I couldn’t handle those flyaways, it wouldn’t work, not sitting on the lake.”
Brown said he “ran to the kitchen, ran to the fridge” and said it was the best quick fix he thought would fix his hair – a box of sprayable Gorilla Glue.
“I’m like you know what? I can use this and as soon as I come home I can take it out, you know how to wash it “, she continued.
“That’s not what happened.”
She sprayed her glue on her hair and then, as part of her normal routine, dried the industrial glue, which cemented it to her scalp and flew through the door, thinking everything was fine.
After a happy afternoon by the lake with her husband, Brown came home to take a shower and realized the sticky situation she was in now.
“Listen, it didn’t come out, the water was flowing out of it like a shower curtain. It was a bad deal, “Brown recalled.
“I was afraid to call my mother myself, I didn’t call my mother for a week.”
At first, he realized that he would try again the next day and come out.
“I kept saying I wouldn’t panic yet,” she said.
But as the days passed and her hair remained completely glued, she realized she had a problem with her hands, and finally gave in to calling her mother and asking for help.

All this time, Brown was in agony.

Fortunately, the famous plastic surgeon, Dr. Micheal Obeng, caught wind of Brown’s hairy condition and managed to save his locks during a several-hour procedure in Beverly Hills last week.

She was ordered not to put anything in her hair for the next six weeks, but said she intended to keep things simple once she was completely healed.
