Google makes it easy to go back to the search box by clicking “https://news.google.com/”

Google has launched a new search shortcut that can help you quickly refine your results. Now that you’re on a results page, you can simply click “https://news.google.com/” to expand your search field. As he noticed 9to5Google, the tech giant has started announcing users about the new shortcut in a box in the lower left corner, which appears when you tap any key on a results page.

When you use the shortcut, you will be taken directly to the search field where the text cursor will appear next to the initial query. The search field will expand with suggestions for regular searches related to the term you first entered. This makes it ideal for use when you want to expose the original search – say, if you want to refine the results page so that it is mostly displaying links to pages about Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra instead of the non- Ultra – although you can use “https://news.google.com/” for new search terms if you wish.

As 9to5Google notes, this feature joins the Google Search tab accessibility shortcut. Pressing the tab button on a results page highlights the links so you can open websites without relying on a mouse or trackpad.
