Gloria Trevi turns 53 and asks “not to trust the wrong people”

Mexican singer Gloria Trevi turns 53 on this day, in which, she said, she had the best and worst experiences, but she is preparing to celebrate in a big way.

“One of the things I’ve learned about pain is not to trust the wrong people,” he told a news conference.

The singer, born in the north of Monterrey in 1968, will present some of her biggest hits at the virtual concert “Trevi in da house” on February 27 and said in an online meeting with the media that she is very excited about moment that he is alive, after it was announced that he will receive a special award for his career at the Lo Nuestro Awards, which will take place on February 18 in Miami.

The recognition coincides with the 30th anniversary of the release of her album “Tu angel de la guarda”, which included the song “Loose Hair”, which made her an international figure.

Looking back, he remembered very difficult situations in his past, such as the three years behind bars, then called the “Trevi-Andrade clan,” which led to the trial by which his former Representative Sergio Andrade, taking advantage of Trevi’s fame, fraudulently recruited teenagers and abused them.

About this, the singer said that she got an excellent learning. “When you do that (trust the wrong people) you end up betraying people who really love you by mistake. Don’t put your love, your affection or anything on someone who doesn’t deserve it,” the artist said.

Even so, he wanted to give his audience a message of encouragement and hope in the face of a complex global situation due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“Never give up. We are going through very complicated times for many staff and also economically, but do not give up. Look, because I think that almost in front of you you can have the answer to your problems and in the darkness that you have to put your eyes on that ray of light “, he said.

In this sense, she also insisted on faith, which was “very important” for her. He said he did not want to sound like “Gloria Trevi of Calcutta,” but insisted on the importance of “taking God’s hand” and praying in times of despair.

Even so, she doesn’t give up her most shameless part and, when asked what song she will dedicate to the prize she will receive soon, she assured that it will be “Open the bitches”.

“I would be happy to sing it at an award (at a ceremony) because it’s very funny. They’re always scared of the song (song), but I don’t know why, the dogs are very cute, I have three in my house and counting four with me, “he joked.

THE EMOTION BEFORE THE SERIES AND THE CONCERT

About the concert on February 27, she confessed that she feels “nervous”, but that those nerves that she always observes before going on stage are the ones that give emotion and adrenaline to do everything possible.

He also explained that the selection of themes was difficult because there are many songs such as “Dr. Psychiatrist ”or“ Todos me miran ”which have become anthems for several generations.

The same happens with the story of his life, which, he said, is immeasurable and is therefore incorporated into a series, directed by Claudia Estrada, instead of a movie.

“Very soon the bioseries of my life will come out and how well because in a movie it is impossible to tell my life, I should do ‘Lord of the Rings’, but in three copies. In the series, I will be able to tell you when I started following my dreams, then how I rooted them, then how it became a nightmare and then how I started to get up, “he said.

Finally, she was positive about the evolution of the pandemic and refused to think about what a future might look like in which there are still no face-to-face concerts. He considered that soon, between people with antibodies and those vaccinated, the curve will “really” go down to enter a “new normal”.
