Ghosts’ n Goblins Resurrection has four difficulties and here are the differences

The easiest way is to invigorate on the spot

Coinciding with a gameplay presentation trailer for Ghosts’ n Goblins Resurrection, Capcom provided a quick description of the difference between the difficulty settings. Knowledge is power (but I will die another ton). There are four options – Legend, Knight, Squire and Page – and none seem particularly kind.

Here is what to expect, going from the greatest difficulty to the most forgiving:

  • Legend mode: Your armor can take a single shot and there are several enemies on the screen.
  • Knight mode: you can take an extra shot.
  • Squire module: you can take an extra shot and there are fewer enemies.
  • Page mode: you can revive yourself “on the spot”.

Capcom also confirmed that if you delete Ghosts’ n Goblins Resurrection Legend, Knight or Squire, you will be able to run it back and face the tougher Shadow versions of each stage – the classic “second loop”. This seems to be a fair compromise for people who want to go all the way and feel rewarded enough.

At the end of the trailer are presented images with significantly faster pace of Arthur, who manages in a jumping boss. Looks like there are “more surprises in store” for this game, and that clip is one of them.

I’m curious to see the list for how long to beat Resurrection.
