The powerful power of Activision Blizzard video games has been making money for some time now due to several remasters.
I saw the return of IP as. Crash Bandicoot and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater from Activision, while Blizzard entered titles such as Warcraft III: Reforged – that obviously didn’t go down well with the fans.
In his latest earnings call, he mentioned how more of this “remastered content” would likely appear at some point this year:
“We have a few other things at our disposal regarding the remastered content that will be revealed in due course, which should give us new opportunities this year.”
In 2019, Activision said it has a lot of IPs that it thought fans want to experience again – referring to the successful revival of Crash and Spyro.
As for Blizzard, more recent reports suggest it could work on one Diablo 2 recover.
