Actor-director Midnight Sky, who first appeared on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” since he was the first guest of the CBS host in 2015, also shared the festive way he makes his children behaves before Christmas.
George Clooney was the first guest on the first episode of Stephen Colbert The late show in 2015, so when he returned to the CBS show on Friday night, Colbert wanted to know where he had been for the past five years.

As Clooney suggested that geographic convenience (Kimmel’s in LA vs. Colbert being in New York) could have played a role in this, Colbert argued that location does not matter in the pandemic.
“I want you once a week until you waste your time,” Colbert joked.
Clooney replied, “I’ll do it every week. I have nothing to do.”
Like many guests on the talk show in 2020, Clooney did not appear in person The late show – instead, he appeared through the video in the UK, where the actor-director admitted that he and his family were in quarantine after initially traveling there to make a self-forthcoming premiere of his upcoming Netflix movie The midnight sky.
As soon as he landed, Clooney said, “They came out and said, ‘We’ve just reached level three. You have to quarantine two weeks in your house. ” So I got here, I’ll be here for two weeks at home … I can’t go anywhere, I can’t do anything, no premiere. So I’m just here. “
Later in the interview, Clooney talked about the letters he had received from Paul Newman, Gregory Peck and Walter Cronkite.

And while trying to keep his children from becoming “little British” by picking up too many British words and traditions, he recruited Santa to make sure that the “little ones” behave themselves.
He said that when he hears his children fighting in their bedroom in the morning, he pretends to be talking to Santa.
“I stand in front of the door and go: ‘Oh, hey, hello, Santa Claus! And then you hear that Santa is there and he’s like, “Ho, ho, ho,” Clooney explained as he identified St. Nick. “I say, ‘What are you doing here, Santa Claus?’ And he says, “Oh, I make sure the kids are good kids.” And I say, “I am, Santa.” And you can hear them say, “We are, Santa! We are! ” And Santa says, “Okay.”
Once Kris Kringle leaves, Clooney says his children are “behaving incredibly well.”
He joked, however, that he might have problems with a similar technique in the spring: “I’m worried about the Easter Bunny, because I’m not sure what it sounds like.”
