Yankees super prospect, Austin Wells, whose player is considered by many to be recipient of the future of the organization, has met the expectations of his club in this regard Spring training. The 21-year-old captor saw that possible successor to Gary Sánchez, hit one and went in two bat-bats on Sunday at the Bombers sports complex in Florida.
Even before taking his first two bats, Wells had already impressed the entire Yankees coaching staff, including the club’s general manager, Tanner Swanson, who says he is admired for the boy’s skills.
