GameStop has joined growing number of retailers which fully reimburses customers who have purchased 2077. Cyberpunk, according to an internal note obtained by Kotaku.
The memo instructs GameStop employees to accept 2077. Cyberpunk returns to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, even if the game has been opened, and labels the games as “Defective” before shipping them back to the GameStop repository.
Kotaku contacted GameStop for more information, but did not hear before publication.
The company’s official return policy stipulates that full refunds are usually only available for unopened products, making this new policy an unusual exception. Customers who want to return 2077. Cyberpunk will have to do this within 30 days of purchase.
Because numerous numbers with 2077. CyberpunkPerformance on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, retailers such as Best Buy, Sony and Microsoft have relaxed their return policies. 2077. Cyberpunk developer CD Projekt has also promised to reimburse dissatisfied players if they are unable to receive reimbursements elsewhere.
