which have been volatile in recent weeks as investors in a Reddit subgroup have engaged each other, were again active in the premarket trade on Monday. Shares of GameStop rose 5% premarket, while shares of AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc. I HAVE C,
the largest cinema chain in the world, increased by 12%. BlackBerry Ltd BB,
increased by 3.8% and Naked Brand Group Ltd. NAKD,
increased by 9.5%. Koss Corp. KOSS,
a headphone manufacturer, increased by 2.9%. GameStop shares have gained 440% so far this year as investors on Reddit’s WallStreetBets platform sought to punish missing sellers who drove short interest rates on shares to 140% by buying shares and creating a short discount. .
