Galaxy Chromebook 2, revealed by Samsung, is more and more than ever

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Chromebook 2 has been unveiled in a new lease, showing the company’s return to the company’s unique bright orange color in an otherwise similar design, via Evan Blass.

There are some visible changes to the new model, including minor adjustments to the look of the port and the extension of Samsung’s orange application. The keyboard of the second generation model became a more neutral black, even if the orange hue extended to the sides of the laptop.

But any more substantial changes will likely be found in the internal specifications, which will probably improve on last year’s model – especially given that there are new 11th generation Intel laptop chips. Combining the improved battery life and graphics performance of those chips with the already handsome Samsung Galaxy Chromebook seems like an interesting possibility.

The original Galaxy Chromebook was a premium device, with a tailor-made design – and price. But in her review, The VergeMonica Chen was disappointed by the low battery life and cooling – areas that Samsung will hopefully improve in this new leaked model. CES 2021 is just around the corner, so chances are we will receive an official revelation from Samsung in the coming weeks.
