The fiercest competition on the planet, Exatlón United States, returned to Telemundo with a new season that premiered on Tuesday, January 26. With more drama, euphoria, agony and enthusiasm, 24 athletes get ready to give it their all in a tough confrontation to win more than a million dollars in prizes. This season, the Famous Team (Red Team) and the Contending Team (Blue Team) are made up of a combination of new participants who come in search of glory with some competitors returning for a second chance at the title. The intense family reality show will present surprising circuits that will test the physical and mental abilities of the participants in the biggest challenge of their lives. In this fifth edition, Frederik Oldenburg will be greeted as a pilot, who will be accompanied by the sportswoman Marisela “Chelly” Cantú.
12 new athletes and 12 warriors returning for glory
The fifth season of Exatlon USA will include 24 athletes, 12 new warriors and 12 who will return for a rematch that could seal their fate. The six athletes returning to Team Contendientes are: Kelvin Renteria, Rafa “El Brujo” Soriano, Octavio “Tavo” González, Denisse “La Pantera” Novoa, Gaba Del Mar and Raquel Becker.
The Famosos team, in turn, includes: Mack Roesch, Jacobo García, Norma Palafox, Nicole Regnier, Eric Alejandro and Brenda Castro.
Frank Beltre: a football champion
This professional football player, who is part of the new faces of the fifth season, is 30 years old and was born in Azua, Dominican Republic, he got a scholarship to play American football at Towson University. After graduation, he signed with the San Diego Chargers NFL team and later with the Oakland Raiders. Today he is a free agent.

Ever since Frank came to Exatlon in the United States, he has confessed to being a very familiar man, making sure he has “4 women.”
“I always say I have 4 wives, but you have to wait for the reason of my 4 wives, they are my two sisters, my mother and my niece.”
