Fortnite offers refunds on new skin

Earlier this week, Epic Games released a pair of new Terminator skins for Fortnite, and the publisher now offers refunds to those who purchased the T-800. official Fortnite The website indicated that the skin was accompanied by a built-in Cyberdyne Health emote. This is not the case, which may have led to some complaints from players. The official Epic Fortnite Status Twitter account reported that players will be able to apply for one using the in-game stream. A specific date on which players can start getting a refund has not been announced, but will be available sometime next week.

The Cyberdyne Health emoticon is meant to evoke the last moments of the T-800 in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, where the character took a bath of molten steel to ensure his own destruction and protect the future. The original trailer released by Epic Games announcing the content paid homage to that moment, but this time, the T-800 is stopped by Jonesy, who shoots him into the world. Fortnite to ask for his help.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 has a theme focused on the greatest hunters in the multiverse. T-800 and Sarah Connor are the last such “hunters” added this season, after Din Djarin (The Mandalorian), Kratos (God of War), Master Chief (Hate), and Predator. There have been several rumors about future hunters, including Tom Raider’s star Lara Croft. Epic Games has been constantly adding new skins since the beginning of last season, so fans probably won’t have to wait much longer to see which character will make the next cut!
