Johnny Damon woke up behind bars on Friday after being arrested for driving under the influence.

The former Yankees and Red Sox player had a blood alcohol level above 0.20, more than twice the legal limit in the state, 0.08, at the time of his arrest on Friday morning by Windermere police.

The Orlando, Florida native was charged with DWI and resisted a nonviolent officer, according to police reports.

Damon, 47, played 18 seasons in the major leagues, spending most of his career with the Royals, Red Sox and Yankees. He was a two-time All-Star and two-time world champion, winning a title with the Yankees and Red Sox.
