ORANGE COUNTY, Florida – Former Boston Red Sox outfielder Johnny Damon was arrested Friday morning in Orange County with his wife and faces multiple charges, including driving under the influence.
Damon was arrested by Windermere police around 8:15 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence and resisting a nonviolent officer. At the same time, his wife Michelle Mangan-Damon has been arrested and faces charges of assault on a law enforcement officer.
Records show that Damon had a blood alcohol level of 0.20.
Damon and his wife, residents of Orlando, are being held at the Orange County Corrections Department.
