A former PS4 exclusive is coming to the Xbox Series X early next year. When the Xbox Series X was released last month, it did so with more power and goodwill than the PS5, but this was undermined by the lack of compelling games, especially the exclusive variety. Xbox Game Studios is still working on the latter approach, but in the meantime, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S players have a new game to look forward to, one exclusively PS4 at some point.
Publisher Merge Games and developer Infuse Studio have announced this Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition comes on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S sometime in early 2021. When exactly in the first part of 2021, it is not disclosed, but the pair notes that the game will only be available digitally.
The Spirit of the North debuted in November 2019, only on PS4 and PS4. Then, in May 2020, the game arrived on Nintendo Switch and PC. This was followed by the launch of the “Enhanced Edition” on November 26. At this time, this version can only be played on PS5, but it will change sometime in early 2021.
“The Spirit of the North is a single-player adventure game, inspired by the amazing and mysterious landscapes of Iceland, “read an official pitch of the game.” Play as an ordinary red fox whose story intertwines with the guardian of the Nordic Lights, a female spirit fox. “
At the time of publication, price information has not been disclosed, but the game costs $ 20 on PS5, so it is safe to assume that it will cost $ 20 on Xbox Series X. Interestingly, the game is available for retail on PS5, but, as mentioned, there is no talk of a physical edition on the Xbox Series X.
