Former Pittsburgh Steelers WR Hines Ward has dropped out of the Hall of Fame

The fifth time was not a charm for former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward. The football hall has announced finalists for the 2021 class, and Ward has been clogged … once again.

During Hines’ 14-year career in Pittsburgh, he was voted for four Pro Bowls and helped the Steelers win two Super Bowls. Ward has been named MVP of the 2006 Super Bowl, a rare honor for a wide receiver. He finished his career with 1,000 receptions, 12,083 meters and 85 touchdowns.

The 15 finalists of the modern era, including former Steelers guard Alan Faneca, will be reduced to a maximum of five employees and announced during the annual NFL Honors broadcast on Saturday, February 6th.

Bill Cowher and former security guards Troy Polamalu and Donnie Shell await their entry into the hall, which has been postponed due to the pandemic. The Centenary Class 2020 and the Class 2021 will be introduced in separate ceremonies during a weekend full of stars, HOF invented “Twice the fun in ’21”.
