His case two children get fatally upset by a woman from the exclusive community of Westlake Village, in the Los Angeles area, took a new turn as a former baseball player was reportedly involved in the tragedy.
Scott Erickson, won 142 games in 15 seasons in the major leagues, was charged in connection with the September 29 accident on the streets of Westlake Village.

That night, Rebecca Grossman drove her luxury Mercedes-Benz in Mark and Jacob Iskander, aged 11 and 9respectively, when children crossed a crosswalk at the intersection of Triunfo Canyon Road and Saddle Mountain. The parents managed to protect two other children who had not strayed too far.
Grossman, who entered the road, was then suspected of “racing” with another driver.

Grossman, an influential woman in the region and a relative of top burn medical specialists, has been released on $ 2 million bond.
The Los Angeles County prosecutor claims that Erickson, who played for teams including the Minnesota, Baltimore, LA Dodgers and NY Yankees, was the person with whom Grossman led the street race.
Erickson, 51, received reckless driving fees and is due to appear in court on March 16.

Grossman was charged with killing the vehicles and also more because he escaped the scene (hit and run). She faces a 34-year life sentence. if found guilty.
