Added to this is the first season without presenter Erasmo Provenza, who resigned amid a media storm in the middle of the fourth tranche. The host mentioned accusations that, according to him, ranged from abuse, disrespect and various situations that made him say “goodbye” to the program that opened the doors to homes in the United States from 2018 to 2020, when COVID-19 wreaked havoc on the competition, forcing it to discontinue registrations and extend their duration to almost 10 months.
Expelled and suspended in the fifth season
On April 1, we published that the athletes expelled from Exatlon USA are Denisse Novoa, the famous “Panther” of Team Contendientes and “El Tanque” Frank Beltre, who, according to various fan portals, committed a foul that translates into a violation of the contract they signed at the beginning of the recordings, so they are no longer part of the real-time television program.
Today, April 2, Miami-based journalist and TV presenter Javier Ceriani, in his YouTube program called “Chisme No Like”, revealed several strong accusations against Exatlon USA, where he also says that Novoa and Beltre were found allegedly marijuana, something that violates the laws of production and forced them to take immediate action and expel both athletes from the competition.
In addition to the substances found, Ceriani claims that he also discovered money and mobile phones, but this is not confirmed if he belonged to those expelled or to some athletes who are currently suspended, but their names have not yet been confirmed. Don’t miss the video here:
