MEXICO CITY.- Natanael Cano, originally from Hermosillo, Sonora at just 19 years old, managed to break the stereotypes of different musical genres, including the Mexican regional.
Cano surprised everyone when he launched his new musical collaboration; a duet with Alejandro Fernández, one of the greatest exponents of music in Mexico.
It is a new version of the song “Amor Tumbado”, with which “El Potrillo” joins this musical trend.
Networks exploded when the song Amor Tumbado was released, the same song that so far (less than 24 hours after publication), has over 1 million reproductions. Opinions were immediate and, in fact, “El Potrillo” silenced the comments on their social networks, because the criticism did not stop because of the collaboration.
Cano’s songs are inspired by the traditional sounds of Mexican music, but he likes to incorporate hip-hop and trap ornaments, in addition to the fact that his appearance has nothing to do with what “normally” can be seen in artists of this genre. .
Sonoran is also the creator of the lyrics of his songs, as he commented, he is inspired by the experiences of his life and those of his friends.
He explained that the false corridors are a mixture of Mexican regional music, with hip hop and trap touches, which “offended” more than one and why he was harshly criticized.
Natanael released her first single in 2018, “He with Gucci glasses”, since then his presence in the music industry has generated great controversy, because his style is despised despite the fact that it is very viral and famous in networks, because at least on Spotify has more than 6 million listens per month, and its songs have reached over 100 million views.
