FMLN members denounced yesterday in front of the General Prosecutor’s Office (FGR) and the Office for the Defense of Human Rights (PDDH) an alleged “communicator” of the government radio for persecution, harassment and expressions of violence against women, who was identified as Roberto Silva.
The defendant, along with other persons holding the accreditation issued by the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) as members of Radio El Salvador, entered the hotel where the final control takes place while following the former candidate Daniela Genovez, as can be seen in a video from Silva’s YouTube Channel.

The alleged communicator, who shares extensive information on his YouTube channel in favor of Nayib Bukele, made a live broadcast of the moment when he complains to Genovez because he is alleged to have insulted other colleagues, which is not heard in the recording. mentioned.
In the video, it is seen that he is following the female member of the FMLN assigned premises inside the hotel and is heard saying: “Why are you running, coward”. Genovez closes the door.
A police officer confronted them because he was in a restricted area, but they threatened him saying, “At this point we will shoot the superior authority.”

Asked who gave him the accreditation and if he worked for government radio, he also hit journalists.
FMLN MP Yancy Urbina described the incidents as “political violence” and confirmed their complaint.

For her part, MP Karina Sosa said that these actions are being done in order to provoke them, but that they will not get into it.

After the incident, Genovez said: “I told the police that he was in flagrante delicto for violating Article 55 of the Comprehensive Law for a Life Free of Violence against Women (LEIV) for expressing violence against women; the policeman did not want to act, no, he did not stop him at that moment, even if he was following me, he really wanted to enter our premises by force, he raided a private space ”.
He added that the alleged communicator “has been following and insulting me since yesterday (Friday)”.
