Fixed US futures as trading begins in 2021

US stock futures were flat late Sunday in the first trading session of the new year.

they were little changed, two days before the Georgian elections, which will decide control of the Senate and probably the fate of the economic policy of the future Biden administration.

Shares in the U.S. ended on Thursday, the last trading day of 2020, with the Dow and S&P 500 setting new records as investors pulled off a wild year that saw stocks collapse in a bear market before returning to historical maxims.
