Fitbit’s Luxe is a fashion-focused fitness band that costs $ 149.95

Fitbit has announced its new Luxe fitness tracker which appears to be a more fashion-oriented version of Inspire 2. It was unveiled last week, but Fitbit is making it official with the news that Luxe is available for pre-order starting today, April 19, for $ 149.95. This cost includes six months of Fitbit Premium service, which typically costs $ 9.99 per month. The service recently launched the new Mindful Method program created by Deepak Chopra, which includes over 30 audio and video sessions on mindfulness and wellness.

A specific release date for Luxe has not been distributed, but the company is planning a spring release, so you should not wait too long.

Luxe was designed for “a wide range of wrist sizes and skin tones for 24/7 wear”. Fitbit says that the Luxe is the thinnest touch screen tracker to date and the company believes that most people should be able to sleep comfortably with it on. For this purpose, you will not have to charge it every night, as Fitbit claims that it will take up to five days to charge.

Luxe includes an interchangeable silicone strap with several size adjustments. Other straps will be available at launch, including multi-color silicone bands for $ 29.95 each, fabric bands for $ 34.95, leather bands for $ 49.95, stainless steel mesh bands for $ 79.95 dollars, going up to $ 99.95 for the stainless steel bracelets from the luxury jewelry brand Gorjana. If you just want Luxe with the band Gorjana, a limited edition version of the tracker that costs $ 199.95 will include one from June.

Luxe is aimed at people who want their fitness tracker to be taken for jewelry. The company even went so far as to use a metal injection molding process to create the Luxe stainless steel case, which is apparently a traditional technique for making jewelry.

Luxe is a buttonless tracker, and the inputs are delegated to the color OLED touch screen. Like its previous smartwatches and trackers, Fitbit’s Luxe will be supported for iOS and Android devices. It will also support Google Fast Pair to pair faster with Android devices. Luxe supports connected GPS while paired with your phone, so you’ll need to bring your phone if you want to track races or walks. If you have a built-in GPS is important to you, Fitbit’s Charge 4 includes those features as well as other features like Fitbit Pay and Spotify commands.

Fitbit is using this release to announce that Luxe, along with the company’s other heart rate trackers and clocks, supports the accompanying app’s Stress Management Score, which assesses activity level, sleep schedule, and heart rate to help you to manage stress. Through the application, Luxe can track a number of other values, such as breathing pattern, resting and variable heart rate, skin temperature, mood, sleep and menstrual cycles. At some point after launch, it will be able to record your blood oxygen level (Sp02).
