Now, under Google, Fitbit doesn’t seem to be made with new hardware. A new leak today reveals another dedicated fitness track from the company in progress, Fitbit Luxe, focused on premium.
WinFuture today they published images of a product that is said to be called Fitbit Luxe. This would mark the top end of the Fitbit fitness tracking line, apparently with an emphasis on providing a more premium portable item. Luxe is highlighted by a stainless steel case that apparently would come in black, gold and silver.
Most details about this tracker are unknown at this time, such as the claims on battery life, but it is clear what Fitbit is referring to here. With Luxe, the company would offer better build quality and a much slimmer and more attractive design compared to its Inspire 2 and Charge 4 trackers launched in 2020. This, while apparently still offering heart rate monitoring, sleep and stress tracking, and even GPS.
In particular, the device seems to have a much better OLED screen on board compared to the company’s other trackers, complete with colors and designs that are very similar to what is on Sense and Versa.
It’s unclear when this fitness tracker will hit the market, but based on previous leak cycles, it’s probably not too far off. Roland Quandt says it will be launched “soon”. As for prices, no details are known yet, but it seems reasonable to expect the Fitbit Luxe to stand somewhere between the $ 149 Fitbit Charge 4 and the $ 229 Fitbit Versa 3.
