United Nations (UN) made known by the latest edition of World Happiness Report 2021 the happiest countries in the world despite the covid-19 pandemic.

The variables used to determine the level of happiness of the population in these countries vary from the comparisonl Gross domestic product (GDP) per capita, social assistance, life expectancy, individual freedoms and anti-corruption perception.

The first places are occupied mainly by European countries in the northern region. Below is the list:
