Final Fantasy 14 Endwalker Extension – New content from the 6.0 Announcement Showcase

The new FFXIV the expansion brings quite a lot of new content that players are already excited about, including a new healer, housing and non-combat modes.

Final Fantasy 14 The Showcase announcement brought exactly the level of anticipated news that the team has been suggesting for months. Most importantly, he brought us the teaser trailer Endwalker, the latest expansion representing patch 6.0 in MMORPG.

But, of course, they couldn’t let her go. Normally, announcements of this scale are made to “Fan Festivals,” which are two-day conventions. FFXIV fans. This means that beloved director Naoki Yoshida, with traditional lead and English translator Koji Fox, had a lot to present instead of a typical Fan Fest keynote.

Many of the basic features of Endwalker were revealed during this presentation. We have completed some of the most interesting changes and new features to come.

As for the launch date – all we know is “Fall 2021”. But given last year, as a wise man once said, “Let the expanse contract, let the eon become instant.” In other words, who knows how much this will feel?

The new FFXIV expansion: Endwalker, the end of the Hydaelyn / Zodiark story

From 1.0, the players followed the quiet and hot war between Hydaelyn and Zodiark. And, although the importance of such things has been kept silent from time to time, Shadowbringers brought this massive story to the forefront in ways that have implications for FFXIV universe. We already know that Hydaelyn manifests as the Mother Crystal, and some stories strongly suggest that Zodiark has a manifestation related to the moon.

Now it appears FFXIV the team strives to finally pay attention to this story deserving of its importance. Players invested in the tradition will eventually receive rewards because it is explicitly stated that Endwalker we will focus on the explosive implications of those about Hydaelyn and Zodiark. After the events of Shadowbringers, we know that this relationship – and ours with each entity – is more complicated than we initially knew.

Now, our journey of understanding includes one trip a month! Because apparently multiplayer games can’t escape the moon, I think. But we’ll also see Garlemand, who … um, spoilers. In fact, there are only a lot of spoilers, so I’ll leave it at that.

If you are worried about this conclusion FFXIV in itself, do not worry! Yoshida and Fox are doing their best to assure us that this will not end FFXIV per se. In fact, they claim that immediately after the 6.0 story, a new arc will be introduced. After all, they say the end is often just the beginning – “them” here in a general sense, and from Yoshida and Fox themselves.

The New Healer FFXIV: Wise

It looks like we’ll get two new roles again Endwalkerrelease: a healer and a melee DPS. During the Ad Showcase, I heard about the Sage, the new healer. Sage has a pretty cool design, with four floating sword-type devices. It’s pretty obviously inspired by Gundam and other modern weapon styles, as I joked in the stream. Alphinaud will be the representative NPC, as shown in Endwalker tow.

What we do know now is that this will play into utility similar to Scholar, who is a “barrier healer,” as described. Players will be able to offer barriers and healings, as well as amateurs for their own fighting and healing magic.

You will need to purchase the extension to access this class; but once you’re square, you can pick it up in Limsa Lominsa once any of your classes have reached level 70. And if you want to know more for now, we’ve talked a bit more at MMORPG.com about what’s next with Sage, so that check it out!

The Sanctuary of the Island

If you’ve been looking for more casual final content, it looks like Endwalker will give you plenty of links to its new Island Sanctuary. Apparently settled in the new Thavnair island, you will be offered your own island to rejuvenate and get your hands dirty!

The Sanctuary of the Island has been described as a possible “fun and relaxing” experience with some new features. You will be able to take a barren island and turn it into something fruitful (maybe literally?). Although it seems to focus on crafts and gathering, the developers say that those who do not have non-craft jobs will also be able to take advantage.

We are not yet given full details on how the game will be introduced, but we have some clues. We are told that we will be able to pick up and sell items to others, as well as let our servants relax. Short speculation here, but maybe this will eventually be the answer to the growth and gardening Chocobo stuck behind the houses. Who knows? Regardless, it looks just as interesting as it is relaxed!

Ishgard House

Yes, it’s here. It is confirmed. It’s finally coming. It is the Ishgardian home.

With the completion of the Ishgardian Restoration, it appears that we will now have the option to reside in the mandatory regional adventurer’s home in Ishgard. Of course, this was sought, given the praise for Heavenensward’s thematic region of high fantasy. It will be the second residential neighborhood located outside a departure city, after Shirogane, located and themed after the Far East region of Stormblood.

Regarding logistics: Once 6.0 starts, we will be able to check the new areas before the house goes down. As in the Shirogane version of Stormblood, however, the purchase option will come with 6.1. It will have the same number of sections as any other housing district.

Personally, I know a lot of role players who will make the exodus of homes to Ishgard – even non-Ishgardians. It’s a pretty interesting prospect, because the city in the game keeps its gates open for new economies. In addition, there are a lot of Ishgardian role players out there, of course. Will you be part of the Ishgard Housing (Savage) rush?

There are no more belts

Simply remove the belt slot. This is. That’s the news. They explicitly explained that this is not just for statistical purposes, but largely because they do not appear, so you can’t even fall in love with them. (Instead, the rings remain largely due to cosmetic needs.) It seems that this is also part of a plan to rebalance combat statistics.

After 6.0 strokes, your belt will be unmanned. You can get any belt you fitted to Calamity Salvager, in case you want to sell it or something like that. (You can sell it at Enclava Doman at any time.) But what is the use of this beltless Final Fantasy game? Tragic.

Again, some pants in this game are pretty much belts and a bit of cloth for your private goods. Or, in the not-so-high tradition of Square Enix fantasy, some clothes are essentially a ton of belts held together by pure stylistic boldness. Take this however you want.

Will you miss the belts? Or will you be too busy identifying Ishgardian dwellings to observe?
