Filming in Philadelphia: Several people were shot near Olney Transportation Center

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) – Philadelphia police say seven people were shot Wednesday afternoon near Olney Transportation Center.

Police said the shootings occurred just before 3 p.m.

The views from Chopper 6 showed a large police presence near the station on the corner of Broad Street and Olney Avenue.

Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw said the injured were between 17 and 70 years old.

The victims were taken to hospitals in the area. One person was listed in critical condition, but the others suffered non-life-threatening injuries, Outlaw said.

At least one person was arrested and two weapons were found at the scene, police said.

An earlier version of this story said that one person died as a result of the shooting.
