Fighting with an arrested person causes moments of tension in Guayama Command

Authorities managed to catch a man tonight who fought with police officers while being booked after being charged with attempted murder and violation of the Weapons Law.

Axel Valencia, spokesman for Uniformed, told El Nuevo Día that Anthony Colón Maldonado left the Guayama headquarters with the regulatory weapon of one of the men in uniform after fighting with law enforcement while the trial was underway.

The defendant received a bail of half a million dollars for the charges against him.

The man ran away from the premises and fired two shots into the air. However, he was arrested again and his weapon was confiscated.

No one was injured.
