Nothing is impossible. And the dream is still intact. Two philosophies that continue to strengthen the Salvadoran climber Alpha Karina Aruebe, who arrived on Saturday (in Nepal time) at what would be the last stop before reaching the ground of the base camp of Mount Everest.
Gladly, the national confirmed his arrival in Lobuche, at an altitude of 5,018 meters above sea level (as cuscatleca wrote on Twitter) and that “it is located 150 kilometers east of the Nepalese capital, Kathmandu, and south- west of the base camp “, confirmed by Indes. The camp is expected to arrive this Sunday (Nepalese time).
The village is where Aruch arrived and will serve as accommodation for rest. It is a small settlement that will lead her to be able to start her ascent on the “roof of the world”, according to the information on the specialized websites, “on the standard south-eastern route”.
As previously known, communication will now be more difficult for Salvadorans. However, he managed to post his location and, in addition, posted some photos on his social networks. In snapshots, she is seen happy for what has been accomplished; and in one of the images, part of his illusion is read: “Sagarmatha National Park, Lobuche, Everest Base Camp”.
In addition, in the most emblematic photo, the national team said: “Grateful for this opportunity! They have no idea about all the obstacles I had to overcome to be here and about the great sacrifices to pay for the expedition, but the dreams are priceless ”.
