Federal agencies arrested nine people this morning after completing a fraud investigation Pandemic Unemployment Assistance Program (PUA),

This would be the first time that federal agencies make arrests in Puerto Rico by the PUA.
The arrests followed a ruling by a grand federal jury last week.
Spokesman for Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Limary Cruz Rubio told this media that the arrest warrants are separate and the nine people are adults.
The case was investigated by the Federal Treasury Department, the Department of Labor and Human Resources, the United States Postal Service and the Office of the Inspector General of Puerto Rico.
