FC Barcelona – La Liga Contract until the end of the season
Fworms Barcelona redirect Emmanuel Amunike urged the club to respect Lionel Messithe final decision on its future.
The 33-year-old applied for a transfer last summer, but after Josep Maria BartomeuHis resignation as president, his future is now quite unclear.
MESSThe contract expires in June and he is expected to wait to see what kind of project the incoming president has to offer before making a decision on whether or not to stay.
“You never know what’s going to happen,” Amunike said Radio MARCA.
“The reality is that you have to thank Messi for everything he has given Barcelona. But everything has its beginning and end. He is not as young as he is.
“But I will remember what Messi did for the club. If Messi leaves, you have to respect him and thank him for what he did.”
Amunike joined Barcelona not long after their current boss, Ronald Koeman, he had left the club.
“I am just happy to be here Koeman“, added the Nigerian.” It wasn’t that easy for him.
“I’m in the Spanish Super Cup final now and that will give the team more confidence.”
