Dr Anthony Fauci said on Sunday that vaccinated people should continue to wear a mask to prevent the “involuntary” spread of the coronavirus or the disease itself – although he acknowledged that the risk was “very low”.

In a separate interview, Fauci said that there is a risk posed by the new variants, some of which may be more resistant to vaccines.
“There are variants circulating and, although they are unusual, we see revolutionary infections,” Fauci said in CNN’s “State of the Union,” referring to the deadline for cases of fully vaccinated people who are still positive for COVID-19. ..
