Fauci has a 1-word answer to the question about “What has changed” around January 20th

Dr. Anthony Fauci finally appeared on “The Late Show” on Friday for his first pandemic coronavirus interview with Stephen Colbert.

And the nation’s top infectious disease expert, who is President Joe Biden’s top medical adviser, wasted no time in casting a shadow over former President Donald Trump – whose politicization of the Fauci pandemic has been seriously criticized.

“I wanted to have you for a year. We tried to put you on almost every week for a year. I could never get you, “Colbert told Fauci.

“Around January 20, your program really opened,” the host continued late, referring to Biden’s inauguration and Trump’s departure from the White House.

“What has changed?” Colbert asked.

“Everything,” Fauci laughed, letting Colbert go.

“Okay, I hope it’s constantly changing,” Colbert said.

Elsewhere in the interview, Fauci said the pandemic would end “absolutely” – it was just a question of when, depending on vaccination programs and people who continue to wear masks and social distance.
