Famous actor Christopher Plummer has died – Cinema and TV – Culture

Christopher Plummer, one of Canada’s most beloved film actors, died at his home in Connecticut, USA, at the age of 91.

This was announced by his manager and friend, Lou Pitt, in an emotional message: “Chris was an extraordinary man who loved deeply and respected his profession with great manners, a sense of humor and always with words. beautiful for everyone “, he commented.

Plummer has built a strong career in film and theater. He was the protagonist of the musical myth La rebicia rebelde (The Sound of Music) with Julie Andrews. He worked until the age of 90 and at the age of 82 became the longest-serving recipient of an Oscar for his work in Beginner (2012). He recently acted under Ridley Scott in All the Money in the World (2018) and in the drama Between Bricks and Secrets (2019).
