Much can be said about Albert Rodríguez’s performance as an actor and director. However, until his death, part of the people knew his vocation as an educator, which proved to be the purpose of his life.
This was demonstrated by fellow artists and students, who went to the Braulio Castillo Theater in Bayamón yesterday to pay tribute to him at the beginning of his awakening.

“The commitment he had with those students was the purpose of his life and I don’t think anyone was so clear about that. Those students were his life and he was always close to the young people, giving them mentoring, opportunities, he believed in them a lot “, said Suzette Bacó, who was next door to the late artist.
A decade ago, Rodríguez founded the National Talent Academy with Deddie Romero. They focused their efforts on educating school dropouts and established two campuses, one in Bayamón and the other in Arecibo, of which the actor was general manager.

He was a fan of the Avengers and even though he was a “sticker”, this was the biggest thing for him, his emotion was like that of a Christmas child. “He was an extraordinary human being, he always came with advice, a new teaching. It motivated us every day not to give up, that life was one and we had to take advantage of every second. He was an extraordinary theater teacher, that legacy will always remain “, said the student Diego Rosario.
From the very beginning, their inseparable relatives and comrades from the artistic class arrived: Bacó, Marian Pabón, René Monclova and Jorge Castro, as well as Romero, Raymond Gerena and Ulises Rodríguez. These last two theater administrators.
